Event Volunteers
Event volunteers work from Wednesday through Sunday of the event (July 22-26, 2009). Volunteers may select up to 3 Event crews to work on and accrue hours toward a perk of their choice. With the assistance of our head volunteer coordinator, they create their own schedules, based on their availability during the event. Shifts may begin as early as 8:00am and end as late as 2:00am. Event volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, and must work a minimum of 12 hours during the event. Additional perk information can be found here.
We have a wide variety of Event crews to choose from, and most of them require no special experience. Event crews are at work everyday, at all hours, around the Crowne Plaza Hotel and other official DFEST venues. Click here for Event crew descriptions.
All volunteers are asked to attend the Bag Stuffing on Saturday, July 18, from 1:00-4:00pm.Bag stuffing is a separate job from the required twelve hours to be a volunteer.

Now Accepting Volunteer Applications * DECEMBER 12, 2009
We are now accepting applications for DFEST 2009 volunteers. All volunteers first need to create a profile in the online database. All volunteers will create a record in our online database, then you will assigned a crew to work on based on your indicated preferences.
There is also an agreement form which you will digitally sign online.
All volunteers should attend one of the Volunteer Calls in TBD to complete registration as current volunteers. Local volunteers who are not able to attend one of the calls should contact the head Volunteer Coordinator and arrange to come by the DFEST offices to complete their applications.
